For the guys, there are about 252 Division I, 155 Division II, and 335 Division III tennis scholarship programs. The NCAA allows each Division I and Division II men’s tennis programs about 4.5 scholarships.
A total of 2,496 scholarships are offered in Division 1 tennis for women. At the Division 2 level, 216 universities have tennis teams for women. There are 6 scholarships available per team to be divided among the players. A total of 1,296 scholarships are offered in Division 2 tennis for women.
